Virginia Patania, Practice Manager and Managing Partner, Jubilee Street Practice

Virginia Patania is a managing partner at the Jubilee
Street Practice in East London. She sits on the board
of the Tower Hamlets Clinical Commissioning Group,
where she leads on urgent and emergency care, and is a
director of The Highway Network, a CIC formed by four
practices to deliver services locally. She has led nationally
on the campaign to address recent GMS funding cuts
through the removal of the Minimum Practice Income
Guarantee, and on raising the profile of deprived
boroughs through an evidence-based analysis of
workload, disease burden and complexity. When Patania
is not lobbying NHS England, she is working with them as
part of the NHSE Pan London Leadership Group.

Gary Hughes, Practice Business Manager, The Waterfield Practice

Gary joined The Waterfield Practice in August 2008, having spent many years managing organisations in the Optical and Veterinary profession. He is responsible for both the strategic development of the organisation and the daily management of the practice.

Jan Harley-Doyle, General Manager, Somerford Grove Practice, Founder, LifeStyle Options®, Professional Development Specialist and Coach

When Jan Harley-Doyle joined the NHS in 1990, she brought several years’ senior management experience in corporate training and continues to prioritise workforce development as the cornerstone of General Practice.

Her contributions to primary care include:  co-authoring ‘Management Standards in General Practice’; developing a complimentary ‘Profiling Toolkit’; training/consultancy; coaching and mentoring NHS colleagues.

Passionate about CPD, following her Masters, Jan studied a wide range of complimentary disciplines including Coaching, Neuro-linguistic Programming, Stress Management, Motivational interviewing and Clinical Supervision – before founding LifeStyle Options®.

From mid-2017, Jan will be working as a full-time consultant, specialising in developing, supporting and nurturing General Practices and their staff, during this time of unparalleled transition and transformation.
